Richard Russell

Richard began his studio career in 1991 producing and writing Hardcore Rave music including ¬†Kicks Like A Mules “The Bouncer” and early UK rap such as London Posses “Pass The Rizla”.

In 2006 he conceived and co-produced “Aluminium”, an avant-garde orchestral album based on compositions by Jack White.

In 2010 he produced and co-wrote Gil Scott- Herons final album “I’m New Here”.

In 2012 he co-produced and co-wrote Bobby Womacks comeback album “The Bravest Man In The Universe”.

Richard¬† produced Damon Albarn’s Mercury Music Prize Nominated debut solo album “Everyday Robots” released 25 April 2014 on Parlophone Records.

He has recently produced the debut album for Ibeyi who are signed to XL.
